Have two and I am having custom pillows made to pad the headboard. If you have a wild sleeper make them sleep below the wheels until you know that they are not going to keep hitting the metal. My 5 year old was bruised pretty good the first week until I figured it out. Also the double sided safety mesh rails fit nicely for a toddler. You don't want one to fall out of the bed and hit their head like those little monkeys. Otherwise they are beautiful, add lights and tulle for canopy cover - ideas are endless!

My daughter got this bed when she was 3 yrs old and LOVES it! It is made very well and is easy to put together. It has kind of a pink hue to it and I made a sparkle canopy for it (it does not come with a canopy cover) and it looks truly magical now! The bed is sturdy enough for a parent to sit on as well to read books, etc. Well worth the price and she can use it for several years.

I ordered this for my 3 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. When my husband pulled the first piece out of the box, he was concerned because of the look. It's metal, but made to look like distressed wood with pink underneath. After putting together several pieces, he realized that it was the style of the bed and everything came together without a glitch. My daughter thinks she's a princess in this bed and it made transitioning to her own room a whole lot easier.
